## About this deck

Study the U.S. presidents in order with 92 English flashcards built for two-way recall. The deck contains 47 presidency-number → name cards and 45 name → presidency-number(s) cards. There are 47 presidencies but 45 people: Grover Cleveland served as the 22nd and 24th president, and Donald Trump as the 45th and 47th.

Each back starts with the answer. Brief term years follow as reference context, so years are not tested as separate facts. The fixed sequence moves through presidency numbers chronologically while weaving in reverse cards from earlier presidencies. Every number/name reverse pair has at least three unrelated cards between its variants, including both Cleveland and Trump mappings. The review scheduler handles later spacing.

This deck practices only order and president number/name recall. It excludes portraits, party, vice president, spouse or first lady, birthplace or state, event trivia, predecessor or successor prompts, and broad civics or U.S. history course coverage.

Reviewed for 2026 against National Archives, Library of Congress, and USA.gov references. The wording, question structure, ordering, metadata, and cover are independently created from common public facts. No government source prose or media is copied, and the facts aren't claimed as proprietary. This is an independent study deck with no official U.S. government affiliation or endorsement.
