Lerne die offiziellen USPS-Kürzel aller 50 US-Bundesstaaten mit 100 deutschen Karten. Jeder Bundesstaat kommt zweimal vor: Bundesstaat → Kürzel und Kürzel → Bundesstaat.

Was du übst

  • Das genaue Kürzel aus zwei Buchstaben zum Namen eines Bundesstaats nennen.
  • Den vollständigen Namen eines Bundesstaats zu seinem Kürzel nennen.
  • Ähnliche Kürzel der Staaten mit englischen Anfangsbuchstaben M, N, I und W durch Wiederholungen mit zeitlichem Abstand unterscheiden.

Umfang und Quelle

Das Deck verwendet die 50 Bundesstaaten-Zeilen aus USPS Publication 28, Anhang B, die für das Original am 27. August 2026 geprüft wurden. Ausgeschlossen sind der District of Columbia, Territorien, frei assoziierte Staaten, Militärkürzel, geografische Richtungsangaben, traditionelle Abkürzungen, ZIP Codes, Hauptstädte, Spitznamen und Regeln zur Adressformatierung.

Abfragerichtungen und Reihenfolge

Die Karten decken alle Zuordnungen Bundesstaat → Kürzel und Kürzel → Bundesstaat ab. Jede Karte fragt genau eine Information ab; zusammengesetzte Fragen oder weitere Varianten sind dafür nicht nötig. Die Reihenfolge des Originals bleibt erhalten: Die Fragen mit einem Bundesstaat als Vorgabe folgen der alphabetischen Reihenfolge der englischen Bundesstaatennamen. Ein fester Sprung, der den gesamten Bestand durchläuft, verteilt die umgekehrten Fragen über ähnliche Kürzelfamilien. Zwischen einer Karte und ihrer Gegenrichtung liegen mindestens acht Karten zu anderen Staaten.

Jede Karte trägt das Schlagwort US-Bundesstaaten Kürzel. Die langfristigen Wiederholungsabstände und das Mischen der Karten übernimmt die Lernplanung.

Dies ist eine deutsche Übersetzung und Anpassung des englischen Originaldecks. Die Bundesstaaten werden mit ihren im Deutschen gebräuchlichen Namen abgefragt; die USPS-Kürzel bleiben unverändert.
