Leer alle 50 officiële tweeletterafkortingen van de USPS voor Amerikaanse staten met 100 gerichte leerkaarten. Elke staat komt tweemaal aan bod: staat → code en code → staat.
Wat je oefent
- De exacte tweelettercode bij een staat noemen.
- De volledige naam van de staat bij een code noemen.
- Op elkaar lijkende codes van staten met een M, N, I of W in hun Engelse naam uit elkaar houden door gespreid te herhalen.
Inhoud en bron
De set gebruikt de 50 staten uit USPS Publication 28, Appendix B, gecontroleerd op 27 augustus 2026. Het District of Columbia, territoria, vrij geassocieerde staten, militaire codes, geografische richtingsaanduidingen, traditionele afkortingen, ZIP Codes, hoofdsteden, bijnamen en regels voor adresopmaak vallen erbuiten.
Deze Nederlandstalige set is vertaald en aangepast van de oorspronkelijke Engelstalige set.
Richtingen en volgorde
De kaarten oefenen alle koppelingen staat → code en code → staat. Samengestelde vragen en extra varianten zijn weggelaten: elke kaart vraagt om één exact antwoord. De vragen met een staat volgen de alfabetische volgorde van de Engelse staatsnamen. Een vaste stapgrootte die alle staten doorloopt, spreidt de omgekeerde vragen over vergelijkbare codegroepen. Tussen kaarten over dezelfde staat in tegengestelde richting staan minstens acht kaarten over andere staten.
Elke kaart heeft het hoofdlabel afkortingen Amerikaanse staten. De herhaalplanner bepaalt de spreiding en afwisseling op lange termijn.
