U.S. Citizenship Test Flashcards (2025)
Study all 128 official USCIS civics questions in their published order. Each card puts only the question on the front and USCIS-accepted response guidance on the back.
Who this deck is for
USCIS administers the 2025 civics test to applicants who filed Form N-400 on or after October 20, 2025. Applicants who filed earlier take the 2008 test. For the 2025 test, an officer asks up to 20 questions and you must answer at least 12 correctly.
If you are 65 or older and have been a lawful permanent resident for at least 20 years when you file Form N-400, you do not need to study all 128 questions. Review USCIS exceptions and accommodations and the official 2025 question bank for eligibility details and the 20 questions marked with an asterisk.
What is included
- All 128 official questions, numbered and ordered exactly like the USCIS bank
- One
uscistag on every card for easy deck filtering - Current federal officeholder answers verified on August 11, 2026
Important
USCIS may accept additional correct answers, but applicants are encouraged to use the responses provided in the official question bank.
Some answers change after elections or appointments, and some depend on where you live. Recheck the official USCIS test updates immediately before your naturalization interview.
This independent study aid is not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS or the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. It does not use the USCIS or DHS seal.
